Business Card Tap ("the app") is a digital business card app for Android, published by Hugo Software. It is designed to work offline. We respect your privacy and keep data collection to a minimum.

What you store

The contact details you enter (name, title, company, phone, email, website, address, notes, social links) and any logo image you choose are stored only on your device. Business Card Tap has no account system and no server of its own; we never receive, collect, or store your card information.

What you share

Your card is transmitted only when you actively use tap-to-share (NFC), display your QR code, or export a QR poster, and only to the device or file you choose. This is a direct, local transfer; it does not pass through our servers.

NFC

Business Card Tap uses your device's NFC hardware solely to emulate a contactless business card during sharing. It does not read payment cards, does not scan other tags in the background, and does not log NFC activity.

Advertising

Business Card Tap contains no advertising and bundles no advertising SDK. Your advertising ID is never read. Earlier versions of the app included ads; that has been removed and the app is now supported by an optional subscription.

Purchases

Business Card Tap Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription. Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play, which tells the app only whether a subscription is currently active. We do not receive your payment details, and we operate no purchase server of our own.

Analytics

Business Card Tap includes no third-party analytics and makes no tracking requests.

Children

Business Card Tap is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed at children.

Data deletion

Because your data lives only on your device, you can delete it at any time by deleting your cards in the app or uninstalling the app. We hold no copy of your data anywhere.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves; the current version is always available at this address.
